Driveway SensorsDriveway alarms often come as a kit with a receiver unit and a remote sensor. The sensor is usually a PIR motion detection sensor. These motion sensors can be used in any area such as a driveway or backyard where there is a risk of intruders, unexpected visitors, mail tampering and theft from a garage. You can use them to warn you if children are near dangerous areas in a house or yard. When a vehicle or person crosses the driveway sensors path, it sends a signal to the control panel console or to a chime box depending on how alarming you believe the intruder to be. Advertiser Links
